on Monday we will have a scheduled maintenance.

When exactly? Monday, February 10th, 2020 from 09:00 CET until approximately 12:30 CET. The game servers, as well as some of our services will be unavailable during that time.

What will be changed?

• Lunar New Year Event ends
• Valentine's event starts (last year's quest cannot be repeated, if it was already completed. More info about the event will follow on our Website on Monday.)
• [Change] A new buff was added that prevents awaken EXP to be lost, when dying a second time within a short period of time. The buff is triggerd when dying the first time and lasts 20 seconds, it will be not triggered a second time, if you die within the 20 seconds of the buff.
  • Example: Your character dies in act 6 and you lose 4% awaken EXP as usual. Upon revival you receive the 20 second long buff that prevents further EXP loss.
    • 1. If you die again while the buff is still active, you will not lose any EXP this time. After revival you will not have the buff again.
    • 2. If you die again after the buff has expired (20+ seconds after first death), you will lose another 4% of EXP, but will receive the buff again upon revival.
• [Change] The old login method (Account name + password, which was still usable by manipulating the client) will now be deactivated completely. Meaning: you will only be able to login with the combination of email + Gameforge account password or accountname + Gameforge account password through the GF Client. Old accounts that have not been migrated yet, will be able to login through the Gameforge client with the old login data once, in order to enter an email address and link the NosTale account to a Gameforge account.

As the title suggests, it's time for me to say goodbye again.

You already might have noticed that I was not that present here in the past months due to lack of time (even though I really tried!).

So in order for you to be properly taken care of, and for me to be able to focus on all the other tasks, you will get a new community manager.

He's awesome! So please give him a warm welcome, when he introduces himself to you!

However, I'll still stick around in the DE board and also stay for the RU community anyway, so swing by and say hi, if you feel like it.

But: starting now (after the introduction) your new CM will be your point of contact!

Hello everyone

I do get your point, but there are some issues that prevent limiting the amount of alts:

- Limiting the amount of possible clients opened: Sure, this would technically be possible, but: 1. Players will always find a work - around 2. they would turn to illegal multiclients, which are an unsafe option. This would only lead to many hacked accounts.

- Forbidding players to use their alts: Since the use of alts was allowed for years now, players put time and money into leveling them up and equipping them. Therefore forbidding the use of those characters is (at least currently) not an option.

Personally, I don't think, that this is the point of the title system. The titles are meant as personal achievements of the player and reward that person, so adding the option to trade them would defeat that whole purpose in my opinion.

But: I forwarded your suggestion anyway.

Mysterious Sealed Vessels are circulating around the world of NosTale. Surrounded by a magical aura, only **parties of experienced adventurers** should dare open them, as these otherwise unremarkable vessels contain the most wicked of creatures, banished by wise mages.

The brave – or the foolish – who nevertheless rise to the challenge to liberate and defeat the evil creature inside one of these Sealed Vessels have a chance of being rewarded with a treasure chest. These contain fantastic items from the NosMall! With a pinch of good fortune, the monsters may even drop a Mini Fire Devil and the exclusive ‘Liberator’ title which grants you +5% damage against monsters from Sealed Vessels.

Event period: From 20th November (from 11 AM CET) until 4th December (11 AM CET).

Here’s How

• Pick up a Sealed Vessel from the NosMall, NosWheel or NosBazaar.
• Rally your friends/family together and steel yourselves for a tough fight.
• Open the Sealed Vessel summoning one of 20 monsters.
• The higher the monster’s level, the greater the chance of collecting a treasure chest. These contain fantastic items from the NosMall, and with a pinch of good fortune, maybe even a **Mini Fire Devil** and the exclusive ‘Liberator’ title which grants you +5% damage against monsters from Sealed Vessels.
• The Mini Fire Devil is exclusively available during this event.

Things to know:

• The Sealed Vessels can be opened on any map, with the exceptions of those detailed below.
• Sealed Vessels cannot be opened in the capitals (NosVille, Port Alveus, Sunset Cliff).
• Only 11 Sealed Vessels can be active simultaneously on the following maps: NosVille Meadows, Mine Plains, Sunny Meadows, Fernon Outpost, Western Mine (all maps), Northern Mine (all maps), Fernon Temple (all maps) and Fernon’s Hideout (all maps).
• The event will be repeated in future with another unique reward.

In addition to the treasure chest, the following items may drop after defeating the monster:

• 1x Mini Fire Devil
• 1x: Liberator (Title)
• 2x Wings of Friendship
• 1x Tarot Card Game
• 5x Fairy Experience Potion
• 20x Perfume
• 20x Huge Recovery Potion

• [Bugfix] Matchmaking in rainbow battle had an issue (wins/losses were not reset).
  Additionally, the hero level will now be factored in twice in the matchmaking, in order to have fairer fights.

• [Bugfix] Random shells were created when moving an equipment piece into the family warehouse and back to the inventory
• [Bugfix] Rare 7 chance for fernon raid boxes was fixed
