  • I have to make it clear:
A person solo-ing IC on channel 5 will get the exact same rewards as someone doing it with 20 other players on channel 1.

Each person that has more than x ActivityPoints will get the same, fixed rewards directly to the inventory, there won't be any drops. You will get the rewards after each round of monsters - you don't have to kill them all.
The only exception is the last round, to get the rewards (gold, fame, specialist points) you have to clear the map - same as it was before.

  • First of all, I have to say good job on this, multiboxing is something that kept destroying the spirit of MMO's and I'm glad y'all are doing more and more to limit it (Can you guys maybe.. just maybe.. make it so that people that have more than one account / ip in the same raid won't receive any box? :) ) and also the fact that people who just afk in IC's and loot got one big middle finger showed up in their face. I LIKE THAT.
Regardless, my question is, what are these rewards gonna be though? I just hope Huge Recovery Pots are gonna be included xD
  • To add to Frosty's post, when you receive damage you will also gain activity points so tanks can lure safely without worrying about attacking the huge mob wasting a lot of FPs in the process.
So if you don't want AFK people to gain much points just clear the "camp" fast so AFK people won't get hit.

As for the rewards it should be the same more or less? is just the quantity that's possibly different.
(Like I assume you wont receive 90 WOA and 90 FMs per person.)

What about brothers and other family-members playing with the same IP? I doubt that's possible, sorry.

You'll see but they will be the same for everyone :)

Actually I completely forgot about that, sorry, however, what about adding activity points to pretty much everything? It'd just be healthier for the game.

Though, how are these action points calculated? What is the amount of damage you need to deal / to tank in order to earn 1 point? I assume it's like, 1k damage = 1 point right?
Also last but not least, do you gain the same amount of points for damaging as you would for tanking, or do you receive more / less depending on what you mainly do?
  • Receiving and dealing damage should be the same action point gain since it suppose to assist the tanks without making "fool" of themselves by luring and not get rewards.
    Monsters are the same.

Does negating damage (ice shield) give the same amount of action points as taking damage, or will all the little 1 damages not offer as much even though it is the same amount of attacks taken?

Also do pets tanking give points?
Does not matter how much damage you receive or deal you all get the same points in whichever action is performed
As for the pets, find out tomorrow! :ninja:

if a holy heals all the player shouldn't it get activity point as well
That's kinda problematic though, I mean, Archmage can do the same and he'd get an insane ammount of points and he could just afk after that knowing he's gonna get the rewards without attacking (for one wave, or two if he has Foxy with S buff)
Same goes to Crusader(you could just spam heal yourself xD) Blade, Inferno, etc.
Imo, you should not get points for healing people, though I'm not the one who decides what's gonna happen xD
  • so basically it is like action points in cali raid?ok could you not make it soo hard to get it like in cali because the last AP i get in cali is only 500~600 XD.and btw why not just send it to parcel if inventory full?

Ps:if possible change the map as well XD make it snowyyyy whiteee

I don't think there will be an issue with that, now of course something could go wrong here so if in the strongest IC a lot of people who really try to gain points cant make it then adjustments will be made.
I guess they judged best for the items to drop next to the person than go to parcels.
  • invisibleman wrote:

well in that case..if someone inventory is full and the item drop next to the players will there be a cooldown time before others could loot your item?

btw just to make sure again. there would not be anymore pots, gold drop,etc.. before next wave start right?
I don't know if there is a timer so I guess you will find out tomorrow on that one, best though to make sure you have space. Organize your inventories people don't be chaotic!

No drops at all anymore rewards will be send directly to your character's inventory at the end of each wave.

I thought it wanted you to deal a certain amount of damage to gain points, not number of attacks. Was that changed?

Do aoe attacks(more targets hit) provide more points than single target attacks?

Do summons(jaja/seer ult/destroyer) give points for their attacks?

Does reflected damage(gladi) give points per reflected attack(similar to aoe attacks)

Would ice shield give points for taking damage, and for freezing opponents?

Do debuffs like sleep give points?

If debuffs don't give points, would Seer's damaging debuffs also not give points?

I know it is a lot of questions, just trying to figure out how the point system works.(like would WK aoe spam give more points with targets hit per second, or Ranger basic attack spam since it deals many more attacks per second)

Keep in mind our information is also limited so most of the stuff will need to be discovered by you guys.

    1) Yes if you hit several monsters with 1 aoe attack you should gain more points. (Thing is if it was damage based then a level 80 would be in an unfair position over a 99 level player) Either way even if it turns out to be damage based aoe attacks will still work better.
    2) Not 100% over this so best not to give an inaccurate answer.
    3) ^
    4) I assume for taking damage it should give yes. Not sure about the freeze part.
    5) Depends, if you see that the debuffs even though they don't deal any damage are counted as hits then yes on all of them or no on all of them for vice versa.
    6) I assume the debuffs that also deal damage should count as hits for sure.
